The Senate of the prestigious University of Uyo on Saturday, 4th November, 2017 confered on one of our lecturers in the Production Department, UNWANA SAMUEL with a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Mass Communication (RADIO/TV BROADCASTING, MEDIA RESEARCH AND LITERACY).

Dr. Unwana Samuel also holds a B.Sc and an M.Sc in Mass Communication from University of Lagos, Akoka. His research interest is in the area of Media Research, Media Literacy, Ethnocomunicology.
