Introduction
This Department is responsible for the training of aspirants to Journalism and adjunct media services such as Public Relations and freelance writing. The training mode focuses more on the practical aspect of Journalism for the electronic media.
The training is open to holders of Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) from approved institutions.
The Department also caters for working journalists who desire to upgrade their knowledge and practise of the profession.
There are also specialised training workshops in Creative Writing and Investigative Reporting.
