National Broadcast Academy Closes 2020 Set Of Training Programmes The Director-General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr Mansur Liman, has advised the graduating students of National Broadcast Academy, NBA, Lagos to consider issues of National Interest as they discharge their duty as Broadcast Journalists. Dr Liman gave the advice at the closing ceremony of NBA 2020 Batch C Basic Courses in Lagos. The Director- General who was represented on the occasion by the Director, National Broadcast Academy, Mr Emmanuel Inegbedion, said there was need for every journalist to verify stories before publishing.

The Director-General urged the graduands to be professional in their practice, and noted that they could also take cognizance of vast opportunities being offered by digitisation and the Internet. He charged the outgoing students to be good Ambassadors of the Academy. Contributing, the Bursar, Mr Lucky Obarien encouraged the graduands to take full advantage of the training offered by the Academy as the Media profession does not discriminate.

In a remark, the Registrar, Mr Eugene Duru, urged the outgoing students to demonstrate competence in the skills they have acquired during the training. Speaking, the Deputy Director, Academic Affairs, Mr Aliyu Ayodele noted that the set was committed to their studies. One of the high points of the event was the presentation of testimonials to the graduands. Management and members of staff of the Academy witnessed the ceremony.
